Please can anyone advise.
i have noticed people have had internal memory issues with HTC wildfire S. I like to install many apps and obviously, i install as many as i can to the memory card. i only have about 2 apps installed on the phone itself 'after i bought it' but the memory is still only about 30mb left. i regulary clear the cach etc. is there anything else i can do to get more internal memory. some apps will only install on the phone and you cant move them to the memory card which is annoying.
Is there any way you can move the apps already on the phone to the sd card or uninstall some of the rubbish unwanted apps installed on the phone??? with only having 30mb left, as i install apps not knowing they go to the phone only, i start being notified the phone memory is low. in no time.

Please help. Many thanks.

You can try and move some apps using the following...
http://htcwildfiresforum.com/desire-tips-tricks/174345-how-move-apps-sd-card-unrooted-device-noobs-guide-updated-09-02-11-a.html

Otherwise the only other way I know of is Rooting the phone (but probably invalidates the warranty).  Some Rooting help is here...

The small internal memory of the Wildfire S is annoying, especially since the pre-installed apps can't be moved or deleted!

Hi all....

I was going to start a new thread however there are so many threads now about internal memory issues that I thought I would just add to this one!

I'm new to android so bear with me if I say something stupid....

--------------------------------------------------------------------

I have installed a number of apps, including app2sd which in theory has moved all of my apps to the SD card. However when I uninstall an app from my SD card the available memory on my internal memory increases by the size of the app I just uninstalled from the SD card.

So the question is, is android mistaken at the amount of memory available on the internal memory when you move an app to the SD card??

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Coming from Windows Mobile 6.5 I find it crazy how small and restricting the memory is! I'm used to be able to do pretty much whatever I want on my phone! If the internal memory issues cannot be resolved soon I may have to sell my brand new phone... Sad

I too had the low internal memory thing. I backed up my contacts to the SD card, deleted them from the phone, imported them from the SD card, and the issue was fixed.

Then, yesterday, I again noticed the low internal storage thing. I backed up my contacts to the sd card, deleted them from the phone--and now they are gone!

I'm going Phone> Menu> People> Menu> Import from SD card>
TMobile contacts backup> Import all VCard files.

It's only finding the Check Minutes and Check Balance contacts. Please help! I can't have lost all that data, can I?

I spent several weeks trying different cache clearing exercises without success when I had reported issue of insufficient memory, thinking I had plenty. The one that worked was clearing Data in Facebook app :
Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Facebook > Clear Data > OK
I had to log in to facebook again after, but no other issue with doing this. It allowed me to download two previous applications that I couldn't previously, and do some updates.
I had already moved whatever I could to SD card and the suggested availability of memory was over 1 GB prior to deleting the facebook data.
I always new Facebook was time wasting but didn't expect it to add up to weeks of research!!!
