Hello to all who are having problems with low internal memory on your HTC Wildfire S,
I have a few solutions
Background- Purchased 2 Wildfires, switched from Blackberry Bold 9700 and iPhone 3G
which never had that problem.......
1. Move USER installed applications to your SD card.
--Go to Settings-->SD & Phone Storage-->Make more space
--Select All Applications, NEXT, Move to SD card, NEXT
This will move some apps to your SD card, if available.
2. Uninstall Pre-installed Programs
--Go to Settings-->Applications-->Manage Applications-->Select All at the Top
--Scroll through the list for apps which you do not use.
I chose Pocket express, Flickr, and many others.
--Once selected, notice the options.
**Force Stop** - Quits the running process/application.
**Clear Data** - Clears personal data - (.1-6MB) usually restored once logged in again.
Example Results: Words, Hanging, Facebook, Phone completely restored.
Angry Birds or any other game loses saved progress.
**Uninstall** - Removes Program (.5-15MB)
3. Root your Phone. This will give your phone enhanced user capabilities and increase your memory size. Mine went from 150MB to 32Gig with a 32Gig SD card installed.
I traded my Blackberry for 2-32Gig Sd cards and 2 roots for our new Wildfire S's at a local mobile phone repair shop. Couldn't be happier now.
Happy Clearing. Rooting will probably be the end result for most people with heavy picture and video usage.
