cant get sms pictures any ideas why?

hello everyone. ok so i rooted my girls wildfire s  ( metro pcs) a few weeks ago and she noticed that she couldn't receive picture text. so i installed the 2.1 scene apps2sd with root. ( all in one day). well i went into cwm and cleared everything and installed 2.1sence rom. still nothing. i then installed a 3.5 sense rom and the phone still cant download the sms pix. i have searched high and low with no results. can some one please help?
